Hotel information
The conference will be held at Viu Hotel Villars ****, in the heart of Villars-sur-Ollon village, few metres away from the train station and the local mountain railway giving direct access to the slopes. The hotel will be privatised for the conference.
Given the limited capacity of Hotel Viu (58 rooms), attendees will also be accommodated at our secondary hotel, the Alpe Fleurie ***, just few meters away (23 rooms).
Early-career researchers (PhD students, or junior postdoctoral researchers with PhD award date in autumn 2025 or later) will by default be accommodated in shared rooms (double occupancy).
Both hotels have been recently fully refurbished and will ensure the best experience for all attendees. All the logistics and attendees distribution between the hotels will be handled by Hotel Viu. Please do not contact Hotel Alpe Fleurie for reservations.
How to get there
Villars-sur-Ollon is easily reached by train from Geneva airport (2 hours) and Zurich airport (4 hours). For the train schedule please refer to the Swiss Federal Railways (CFF) website.
