The conference was held at Viu Hotel Villars ****, in the heart of Villars-sur-Ollon village, few metres away from the train station and from the departure of the local mountain railway giving direct access to the slopes. The hotel was privatised for the conference.
Given the limited capacity of Hotel Viu (58 rooms), attendees were also accommodated at our secondary hotel, the Alpe Fleurie ***, just few meters away (23 rooms).
Early-career researchers (PhD students, or junior postdoctoral researchers with PhD award date in autumn 2023 or later) were by default accommodated in shared rooms (double occupancy).
Both hotels have been recently fully refurbished and will ensure the best experience for all attendees. All the logistics and attendees distribution between the hotels was handled by Hotel Viu. Please do not contact Hotel Alpe Fleurie for reservations.
